Hello. This is Tenpu from Seitohjijuku. Today I would like to talk about the theme, "What skills or lessons have you learned recently?" For me, learning is an asset that accumulates every day. By accumulating a treasure of assets, even if you fail and have to start over from scratch, you can quickly recreate your original state.
Although it's a bit of an old lesson that I learned recently, it's to be kind and not be greedy. These two are my policies, and if I were the president of a company and were to create a corporate philosophy, I would probably put them first.
On top of that, the most important thing in any competition or job is to continue. Continuity is power. In the end, in any sport, the winner is the one who fights until the end and keeps standing. If you give up halfway through, your growth in that sport will be limited.
One more thing I'll add just for the sake of service is to trust your intuition. If your reason tells you to keep going, but your intuition tells you it's better to turn back, you should stop for a moment. Since your reason and intuition are making opposing decisions, it's probably fair to expect some kind of event to happen.
In reality, you may find yourself at a dead end or on a cliff. This is where intuition comes into play. Even if you don't usually pay attention to your intuition, if you feel that something is clearly not good or that this way is definitely better, you should think about it carefully.
If you keep thinking about it, you will eventually find the answer to why. In conclusion, the lessons I have learned over the past few years are that learning is cumulative, continuity is power, be kind, don't be greedy, and trust your intuition.
