Hello. This is Inishie Destiny from Seito Medical School. "It's a way to enjoy your vacation." I don't have any vacations in general. Even during New Year's, I'm on a normal schedule 365 days a year. On top of that, if I had a vacation, what would I enjoy?
If I had a day off, I would like to go to a festival. Because my life is usually filled with work, I want to have a special experience on my days off. But sadly, it's been so long since I last went to a summer festival. It's not that I don't like festivals, but I just didn't feel the need to go.
Or I would like to go to a resort and walk by the hotel pool or on the sandy beach. However, please bear with me as I am about to tell you a story that is not exactly a dream. I say that I want to go to summer festivals and go to resorts, but I don't think I would be able to enjoy the experience if I went to such entertainment facilities because I would be working all the time.
I'm constantly checking my phone or computer to see if there's work I need to get done. You might say, "It's important to switch between on and off. Working at a resort is a waste of money."
I think so too. Since you've come all the way here to have fun, turn off your smartphone and computer and have fun. However, even if I go swimming for fun, I'll get bored of the experience in a day. Above all, work is more exciting and fun.
My hobby is blogging, so I certainly enjoy it, but I don't think I would enjoy writing if I were to mass-produce writing that nobody would read. I can keep working hard because there is someone who reads my articles.
In that sense, I and my readers are having fun through the blog. You can have fun in an online environment without huge pool equipment or food stalls. I want to say, is it really necessary to separate on and off when it comes to vacation?
People who don't like work may say that a life of work is boring. However, if work itself becomes play, you don't need a vacation every day. In other words, you can enjoy a fun and never-boring vacation every day.
I want to tell everyone to enjoy their free time and refresh themselves to the fullest. However, I would like to ask one more favor. I would like to ask you to change your perspective on the work that you do to earn your daily living.
This will free you from the daily routine of waiting for leisure time and allow you to appreciate the wonderfulness of your daily life. If you have time off from work, try doing something special. Although it's fine to just sleep on vacation, try to do something you wouldn't normally be able to do.
This will bring about synergy with your work and allow you to spend your time more meaningfully. However, it is different for everyone. No matter how much I say that you need to make efforts to enjoy your work, there are also serious professionals who say that work is not play.
There are many different people and many different ways of thinking. What I have said today is merely my opinion. However, I'm sure there are many people who think how great it would be if they could enjoy their work like they enjoyed playing.
Human life expectancy is likely to continue to increase. In the future, work will become one of the major pillars of life. I would like to give you an opportunity. First, please imagine yourself doing well at work.
