Hello. This is Ryota from Seito Medical School. This time, I would like to delve deeper into what life is.
Life is like a water filter. The water flowing from above circulates inside the device, making it cleaner. The liquid called water stimulates the device, and it can be said that the water becomes cleaner due to this action. If a person applies an external stimulus to the end of the filtration device by turning on the faucet, water will come out of the faucet and the person will drink that water. To do this, the prerequisite is that the water to be filtered is located at a high place, and moves downward toward its destination inside a box called a filtration device, consuming potential energy. The destination means clean water will enter the mouth of the person at the bottom. Because of gravity, non-electric devices like this can carry out life activities. If we consider the filtration device and humans to be one living entity, humans will pour the water they drink into the filtration device from above. Even if the water is a little dirty, it is filtered so it becomes clean. The filtration device can be made of plastic, but water flows from top to bottom inside the box due to gravity, and while the various functions inside the device work, the externally stimulated person drinks the water. This function allows even plastic devices to perform the same functions as life, even without electric power, as long as there is gravity. In other words, the existence of gravity also makes us feel the existence of life.
Readers who have read this far may be wondering. Plastic filtration devices do not split and will stop working once the water that collects at the top is gone. Now, let's think of the human body as a giant filtration device. However, since this is an ``answer'', I will not write any thoughts on it. Learn to arrive at the answer yourself. I hope the answer really represents reality.
Up to here for this time. See you soon.
