Hello. This is Tenpu from Seito Juku. Is your current life the one you wanted a year ago?

I was recently looking at some photos I took a year ago, and comparing myself now to who I was a year ago, I can say that nothing has changed, but I think I have probably improved quite a bit in terms of my skills.

If you ask me what I dreamed of a year ago, I think I would have dreamed of making a living from blogging. That blog has been on and off for a while now, and I also have a sister blog ( Seifuji Medical School ), but I feel like it's been getting back on the radar recently.

I haven't changed much from who I was a year ago, but I can change who I am a year from now. For now, I want to get a qualification.

I don't know if this story is true, but I would like to obtain the qualifications to become a certified public accountant or a judicial scrivener, but I think it would be difficult to obtain either of them even in a year.

Of course, I will be blogging while I try to get qualifications, so my life will be pretty tight. Fortunately, as I mentioned in the previous survey, I have a small amount of passive income, so if I work a little, it will not be impossible for me to live.

On top of that, I'm hoping to earn some income from my blog, but it seems like it's not that easy to make money from a blog. People may think that not only blogs but even YouTube are becoming outdated now.

As for why I'm blogging now, I think society is moving in a certain direction within a big flow. Some people move first, while others are slow to move, and overall the society is moving slowly.

Some people may say that blogs are obsolete content, or in other words, obsolete. However, the number of people who shoot videos is increasing and the number of people who blog is decreasing, which means that there are fewer rivals for blogs.

In other words, the world has passed over blogs once, and now a new blue ocean is spreading. This is about how things are now compared to a year ago, but when it comes to blogs, I don't think it's bad.

Of course, as I have said before, by embedding YouTube videos on this blog you can also build a site for the new age of web videos.

There hasn't been any visible change compared to a year ago, but next year I would like to aim for a visible change by obtaining qualifications. First of all, I think I will get a second-class bookkeeping qualification and a certified administrative scrivener qualification.

It is hard to accept that the average annual income of a certified public accountant is nearly 10 million yen, and that the average annual income of a judicial scrivener is only about 5 million yen, despite the exams being of similar difficulty. However, it may be that there is more demand for accounting work than legal work.

I also have four three-month spans in the next year, so I want to live my life on that timeline. Even if I pass the Certified Public Accountant exam and earn 10 million yen a year, it seems that if you have children and your household income is 10 million yen, it's tight.

For me, having a child is an unfulfilled dream, but I want to make a big change in the next two or three years. I hope you all will also try your best to look back on your current situation in three years and think that your life has changed. I will fight through life in my own way.

A corporate version of an online shop. When you want to buy something for business purposes, it's fine to buy it through an online shop. If you're a confectionery manufacturer and you want to order sugar in bulk, it would be nice to be able to order it cheaply in bulk online, separate from your regular customers.

From the company's perspective, they may be able to find the products they like just by browsing the shop site and searching. Of course, from the site's perspective, if a company finds a good product on the site and wants to do business with them, they may do so directly, bypassing the site. If that happens, they will no longer receive commission income, and it will be the same as providing a service for free.

Therefore, if the income earned through business transactions through the site is pooled as insurance in case of any trouble, direct transactions between companies should be reduced. If any trouble occurs and evidence is needed, it will be convenient in the future if the shopping site stores the transactions between companies.

Even if you take something like souvenirs for a general meeting of shareholders, it is normal to order them at a business level. If you order in bulk through an online shop, the cost per item will be cheaper, and you can deal with any problems that may arise, making it more convenient.

The commission for transactions does not have to be very high, but you should expect some commission income to act as insurance.

What comes to your mind when you hear the word "leader"? A leader is someone who creates something from scratch. A leader is the first to attract attention and gather people. To attract attention, you can sit alone in front of the assembly, or you can find your compatriots and talk about your goals. If the leader is pure and truly cares about others, people will naturally gather around him.

What is the first thing required of a leader? First of all, courage. First, there is a risk that a fight may break out, and in the worst case scenario, there may be a risk of losing one's life, but is there something that you want to achieve despite that risk? In student movements, students often stand up to fight against vested interests, or vested rights. In the period immediately after the war, there were times when students ran wild on universities in what were known as student protests, but what should leaders have done at those times?

First, they must show the best way forward while taking into consideration the safety of their comrades. If they cross the line and get caught, all will be lost. Then they must compromise with the establishment. The establishment may see the students as a threat, but unless they are extremely corrupt, they will be willing to listen. The leader must then negotiate with the establishment on behalf of the comrades. If the demand is for money or some other selfish thing, the public will not be on their side. To get the public on their side, the demands must be beneficial to the public as well.

Imagine that you have to survive a thrilling battle in the future. Would you want to take part in that battle? If you think about it, whether in politics or business, the top people are always exposed to battle. This is because in any situation there are rivals who can be called antis, and they must surpass those rivals as they grow day by day. The top people must take the lead and keep thinking of ways to win against such rivals from morning to night. You could say that the price they pay is that they are respected.

Conflict can occur at any time. In Japan, Tokugawa Ieyasu's Edo Shogunate lasted for 260 years, and during these 260 years there were no wars and it was peaceful. However, because of this, the skills of warfare did not become refined, and inertia continued for 260 years.

No one likes fighting. They want to avoid losing and suffering a miserable experience. However, if you run away from a situation where you have to fight, you will lose without fighting, even though you could have won. This will be a very good condition for the other side.

The problem is not fighting, but being ready to win at any time. To do that, you need to keep your nails sharp and be ready to land a powerful blow on your opponent at any time. Some people say that winning isn't everything, but if you compromise and settle when you should be fighting, you may end up losing a lot. On the other hand, even if you win, you may not have anything left, and it would have been better if you had settled before fighting.

A leader is someone who takes the lead in these battles and challenges, leaves results, and leaves them as a long-lasting legacy. Leaders who bring temporary benefits will soon fade from people's memories. To be talked about for generations to come, you need something that will last for generations to come.

A leader is someone who is a good example for others and is the last to reap the benefits. A leader cannot be the first to run away when something happens. It is also an important job of a leader to keep an eye on the whole and create an environment in which subordinates can win. I haven't read all of the books I mentioned earlier, so I think there is a different explanation of what a leader is. What I have just said is my theory on leadership, and leaders gain legitimacy by taking responsibility. A leader has a role as a leader. Let's move on to the next one.

The next theme is online shopping and B to B (business to business). The basic principle of online shopping is that the online store sells products to consumers. Online stores do not have full-time sales staff, so they can sell products at a lower price to cover the labor costs. It is interesting to think about what kind of collaboration between companies will take place in this online shop.

For example, let's say your company has an idea for a novel product. At that time, developing the product in your company may require huge funds, such as setting up facilities and hiring new specialized personnel. However, if you order from another company, you may be able to produce the product at a lower price. Which do you think the management department of your company would prioritize? For example, let's say you want to create a gift set from a carefully selected group of products. At that time, you can purchase products at a low price from other companies and add them to the gift set.

This is just an example, but if we look at collaboration between companies from a different perspective, we may be able to see some amazing new business opportunities. Being able to rent out equipment is a big deal. Sharing is also an option.

Even though it's called quantum chemistry, there are those that are closer to physics and those that are closer to medicine. In the physics-oriented ones, wave movement becomes important. The crest and trough waves seen in sine and cosine functions. From crest to crest, from trough to trough. Each wave is based on a length called the wavelength (λ).

The Roppo Zensho is the legal bible that lawyers always carry under their arm, but do you know what the Roppo Zensho actually refers to? The Roppo Zensho refers to six laws: the Constitution, the Civil Code, the Criminal Code, the Commercial Code, the Code of Civil Procedure, and the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Of these, commercial law aims to adjust the economic interests of companies. Here, a company is defined as "an independent economic unit that realizes profit-making activities with economic and planned intentions." In other words, it is a player that puts profit first, plans and operates a business.

While the Civil Code is a general private law that deals with relationships between citizens and troubles in daily life, the Commercial Code is a special private law that deals with special cases such as business relationships. In Japan, the existence of the Civil Code and the Commercial Code can be known by looking at the statutory law written in the clauses called the source of law. In contrast, in the West, emphasis is placed on actual cases that have been handed down in the past, such as legal precedents. Here, statutory law refers to laws enacted by the Diet.

The difference between private law and public law is that private law deals with troubles between individuals in their daily lives, while public law regulates the relationships between members of national or local public organizations. The difference between general law and special law is the difference in their roles: general law regulates people, areas, and matters in general, while special law regulates people, areas, and matters in particular.

<Performance-based and results-based>

This is about merit-based and result-based systems. Merit-based systems are an evaluation of the entire process, including results, and are mainly aimed at employees. On the other hand, result-based systems are a world where results are everything, regardless of process or method, and apply to company managers and freelancers. I think it would be good to consider four different analysis methods by adding another axis of opposing thinking to this merit-based and result-based system. I haven't found a good axis yet, so I'll let you know if I come up with an idea. However, in my case, I think it would be wise to work on a merit-based system for a while, and then I would like to wait a while before moving to a result-based system like freelancing.

It can be said that companies with poor performance are influenced by the lack of ability of people in higher positions, such as managers. Of course, it can be said that the field generates sales, but no matter how excellent the field is, if the top managers lack the ability, the organization will lose its ability to grow. Reskilling, or relearning, has become a hot topic recently, not just for managers, but being diligent is a big advantage in working life. In that sense, managers are results-oriented, and their value lies in whether they can produce results.

Survey Bias

The next topic is surveys. In a survey, doctors and scholars seem to be highly trusted in Japan and around the world. Of course, politicians come in at the bottom as the least trustworthy profession. However, there is a wide range of doctors, scholars, and politicians, so I think it is important to look at them on an individual level, not saying that they are untrustworthy because of their profession, but that they are trustworthy because they are that person. Of course, if you work in a profession like the media where you come into contact with politicians professionally, it is convincing to say that most politicians cannot be trusted.

In politics, party approval ratings and cabinet approval ratings are often discussed. There are various techniques for such surveys. In a TV street survey, if citizens are given two options, if you tell them at the beginning that one option is more popular, crowd psychology will give people the illusion that that option is more popular. Or, by devising the questions, it may be possible to manipulate the results of the survey to some extent.

Even in the academic world, papers are sometimes constructed based on surveys, but it is necessary to check that the survey does not contain bias, that is, biased thinking. When I take a survey, I always check "best" for every answer, so I can be called a bias demon.

<Life in the System>

The first theme is life within a system. In a previous report, I considered what life is from both a material and a spiritual perspective. In terms of material aspects, one definition (meaning) of life is a filtering device that balances gravity and homeostasis. In terms of spiritual or philosophical aspects, having life means that an object has the degree of freedom to exist when experiencing something in the past. In other words, one definition of life is moving freely within a structure called a system, which is the relationship between things. This is because it has its own will and moves around in space.

For example, I wonder what moves freely in the internal environment of the body beyond physical activity. One of them is white blood cells. I believe white blood cells fight pathogens. I don't know much about medicine, so I would like to study it so that I can grasp the facts clearly. Returning to the point, white blood cells that move freely in the bloodstream system can be said to have life, according to the definition above. Body cells can also be said to have life if they continue to move even when separated from other cells.

In other words, if we define life philosophically, one system is made up of countless elements and countless systems. For example, in a system called the body, if you remove something that connects it to the outside, the smallest living organism that can continue to function for a certain period of time is the one that has life. When it comes to life, not only physical definitions are important, but also philosophical definitions.

The next theme is "The Woman Who Created AEON." AEON was created by Kojima Chizuko, who overhauled the parent company, Okadaya. The cover reads, "You need to study more." If you are diligent and work hard, even if you fail, you will bounce back and achieve success. Studying never takes away new realizations, and learning is something that is built up over many years. However, one thing is certain: study is the foundation, and it is the ability to act that builds a vacation home on top of it. The balance between these two points is important. Below are some things that caught my attention in this book.

Whether you succeed or not depends on what your goal is and how you invest your limited time and money. It is exactly the fusion of knowledge and technology, which is called a mental attitude. It's called selection and concentration, but depending on the circumstances, what you think is a disadvantage in life in society can be said to be a great advantage. Even if you don't have money, if you have time, you may be able to cover most academic subjects and technologies in your lifetime.

As for health, a leader who cannot maintain good health will have a negative impact on the company's performance, so it is the leader's job to look after the leader's health. One thing I can say is that, for example, even if the leader is not doing anything, it is important to create a situation where maintaining the status quo is important. Furthermore, if the leader takes action, performance needs to change from maintaining the status quo to a growth curve. As a leader, I would like to at least devise ways to give the company I am in charge of an advantage. On top of that, the health of the leader is a major prerequisite.

In conclusion, I am satisfied with myself now, and my current life is not bad, so I would rather have nothing change. On that note, if I had to choose one thing I would like to change, it would be to have the drive (grid) to see things through.

I've always been the type of person who would start things off with a lot of energy, but as I get closer to the end, I gradually start to feel like giving up. It's already been four and a half years since I started this blog on July 31, 2019.

I completed my first 100 articles in three months, and my writing and blogging skills improved tremendously, but spending eight hours a day researching and writing articles left me feeling groggy, so I left it for a long time.

Recently, I have started posting on the Seitojijuku blog again, but it is true that the one who stands until the end wins. I have also started posting again after a long time, so I can't really boast, but it is true that I am here now, writing this article.

As with anything, if you feel like quitting halfway through, you can stop. If you feel like quitting, you can stop temporarily. Also, if you feel like resuming, you can resume.

If nothing happens, the articles I wrote before will remain there and will be added to like an asset the more articles I write. I gave up on this blog after the first three months, but now I think it would be okay to keep adding to it for the rest of my life.
