Hello. This is Tenmei Watanabe from Seito Medical School. This time I will talk about the fact that prices are determined by the market.
I haven't studied economics at all lately. The previous rewrite of this article was when I was thinking about selling Colombian coffee beans.
The price of Colombian coffee beans is determined by the market, so when there is a good harvest, or a large amount of coffee is harvested, the price goes down. In some cases, the market is in the red, and the market price is like a gamble.
I don't remember what I came up with as a coffee consultant four and a half years ago, but I do remember that prices are determined by the market, just like in a perfectly competitive market in economics. Masu.
Of course, there are gamblers such as speculators in the market who increase price fluctuations, but products that are not characterized by so-called commodities and have many competitors have less ability to independently determine prices.
You don't hear much about environmental protection these days, but back then it was the heyday of environmental protection, and people were talking about just using paper shopping bags instead of plastic shopping bags to appeal to the environment.
I haven't studied economics recently, so I don't have the specialized knowledge to rewrite it, but oh! I remembered. I think they came to the conclusion that instead of selling coffee beans, they should sell coffee seedlings and have them bury them in their gardens.
When it comes to economics, one thing I'm curious about is why Japan achieved such rapid economic growth. When I think about it again, I find it interesting that there may be a reason for economic growth.
One way of looking at it is that consumption was active because it was an era of mass consumption and mass production. The faster money flows, the more products are produced.
I would like to review economics again. At that time, four and a half years ago, I was constantly thinking about the great human invention that seems so tangible yet untouchable: money. Four and a half years have passed since then.
As times change, so do I. Nowadays, I want to write a Japanese language textbook, so everything is going smoothly. It's not very interesting to summarize a book while reading it. I think what's interesting is to do your own research and create your own research book that summarizes the content.
This article has failed to be rewritten at the moment, but the article before the rewrite seems to be concerned about nurturing future generations. In that respect, there's not much difference between me and myself now.
In the end, studying is cumulative. If I hadn't gotten tired of economics and continued studying it until now, rewriting this article would have been easy. In that sense, it is a little difficult to study economics just to make this rewrite a success.
What am I currently working on? It's a blog, a desire to create a textbook, and a desire to read difficult mathematics papers.
I'm planning to study business administration (economics) and mathematics from April, but I'd like to focus on it for 6 months. After 6 months there will probably be something tangible left.
So, that's all about economics. Also, if you reread the textbook, you will remember many things. At that time, I may have the ability to rewrite this article. that's all. Let's meet again. See you soon.
