Think about what life is! Aeon’s founding story! Set tasks in the recruitment!

Hello. This is Nada from Seito Medical School. This time, I'm writing about the diary notebook for Friday, December 1st. From now on, I'd like to include a table of contents at the beginning of the article.

・Thinking about what life is

・AEON's founding story

・Not only B to C but also B to B! Setting tasks in job interviews

・Afterword

<Considering what life is>

Having life means that when you have a real experience of the past, the object has the freedom (will) to do so. Real experience of the past means that when you look at your past memories, if there is something in those memories that moves freely without being bound by the memories, then it can be considered to have life. This is a definition of life from a philosophical perspective, but how does it differ from the previous explanation of life defined materially? It is possible that this philosophical definition of life means something symbolic.

Life, as we have defined it physically before, is a giant filtering system that filters energy through the body and expels what we don't need, or shapes the mechanisms of our heartbeat and breathing through on and off motions driven by gravity and homeostasis.

I don't know if there is any relation between this philosophical definition and the material definition of life. It may be related in the future of medical science, or it may not be related to eternity. What is life? It is a universal question for all living things.

<Aeon's Founding Story>

I am currently reading a book about the founder of Aeon. It is very interesting, so I am not even halfway through, but I would recommend it to everyone. I gained the perspective that management is based on trust and consideration. Trust and consideration are very important elements for human relationships in society.

Chizuko, the founder of AEON, was a woman and was very sensitive, so she practiced "tea ceremony" and "flower arrangement" after work on Sundays for employees who had shifts on Sundays and could not take a day off. Therefore, it seems that she was evaluated at the time as the perfect wife for AEON.

If I were a manager, I think it's important not just to hold cooking classes and study groups, but also to essentially do things that are good for employees. At the very least, I think it's good to continue to push forward with what I think is good.

<Not just B to C but also B to B! Setting goals in job interviews>

If I were the president of a major online shop, I would think about not only selling products between businesses and consumers, but also between businesses and companies. I would like to give some ideas on what B to B means for online shops.

Furthermore, if I were a company manager, I would approach recruiting by giving candidates assignments and having them write reports within a deadline. For example, you could give candidates a month to work on improving work efficiency or difficult problems as assignments and have them compile a report on three A4-sized pages. Using this method, you can see how much skill the candidate has. Of course, they don't necessarily have to solve the assignments, the point is whether there is something worth looking at.

<Afterword> I plan to post my diary notes on Seito Medical School, and a rewrite of them on Seito Personal School.
