Get feedback The desire for approval is a higher order of desire and a great motivation

Hello. It's Tenkaze.

Do many office workers receive feedback from their superiors and those around them? When you input something and produce an output called performance, you want feedback from someone. If the feedback is to the point and correct, it can help you correct your behavior. When I work for a company, I get instant feedback. When I create some materials or come up with an idea, I don't keep it to myself, but rather make it known as my idea.

I'm sure some of you would like to save your ideas and use them as go-inro in an emergency to get a high reputation. Normally, you may want to keep your ideas hidden and push them forward as your own accomplishments when they are most effective. In that sense, I think we are in a situation where we cannot expect appropriate feedback right away even if we come up with an idea. Even if you win a prize like a certain candy, if you keep it to yourself, you will never receive the prize no matter how long it takes.

Personally, I think that ideas that come up with great effort should be actively presented to the public. Even if one idea is taken away by a superior, if the idea is taken for granted by someone in a higher-ranking position, you can continue to mass-produce new ideas instead of giving them away. After all, in the long run, people who don't hesitate to share their ideas with those around them will have richer imagination and gain greater experience. People don't die just because one or two ideas are taken away. Above all, if you make your ideas known, you will receive feedback. Which parts were good and which parts were bad? Later on, that feedback will become the basis for new ideas, creating a positive idea-feedback loop.

Feedback is important. For some people, just pitching an idea and hearing your boss praise you for a job well done and give you some Chupa Chups can give some people a lot of energy. This is called a need for approval, and it is a high-level need among other needs. If you can get approval, you will have a synergistic effect with your work, and you will always be in a state of giving feedback to yourself about how you can achieve better results.

In the end, the potential for growth is different from being greedy and valuing one idea and proposing one idea after another, thinking it's a given that you won't get anything. The same holds true when teaching other employees how to do their job. If you keep all your knowledge and experience to yourself, you will not be able to experience anything further. Therefore, those who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with their subordinates will be able to gain experience as a manager, and they will also feel a sense of urgency to study further and acquire higher-level skills. At that time, there will be a huge difference in skills between those who willingly share their skills with those around them and those who stubbornly stick to their own skills. Ah, this absurdly unequal society. The world is doing well. In the end, the people who gain the most are those who share what they have with others and are not greedy. I think the people around me, myself included, would unanimously support such people. See you soon.
